Good things come in threes...

I always go through three drafts of a manuscript before submitting.

Boy am I glad I did that for Fool's Gold. After adding a scene and some dialogue to help cement the GMC, it's a much stronger work. AND it broke the 25K mark! Yeah! My husband is working his magic as my last reader and then as soon as I get his edits incorporated, I can submit it! And then keep my fingers crossed for an acceptance instead of the dreaded R.

Ericka, I'm the same! I always do the whole three-draft-thing before subbing. It's become like a ritual for me.

It's so funny, the hubby's gotta read mine before I can sub it too! I'm at the same stage. Lol. I got the third draft done yesterday. :)

Anyway, good luck when you sub it!

Thanks Yolanda! I'm hoping he gets done reading it today. I've got the cover letter written and everything. It'll be nice to finally have it off my plate so I can go on to the next one!
