A cold and blustery Monday

A cold and blustery Monday is made warmer by having a new release.

UNLEASHED is now available from Phaze

The sequel to The Werewolf Whisperer! Jazmine Carmichael is the leader of a pack of werewolves living in Eclipse, California. When two of the pack members die under mysterious circumstances, she's determined to get answers.

Blaze Petrofsky and two other researchers often played a game of what if. What if werewolves were real? They set about creating the virus, meeting failure after failure, until he buys an old trunk in an auction. In a small silver tin, he finds werewolf cream. One of his colleagues tries it out, and it works. Before Blaze can look for a cure, he's removed from the project and the government takes over.

Now, five years later, the nightmare has come back to haunt him when a beautiful, mysterious, sexy woman brings him a wolf to autopsy. A wolf who, on closer inspection, is human. When Jazmine is arrested, Blaze follows the clues she left behind, hoping to pay back the debt he owes for rediscovering and unleashing lyncanthropy. But is he too late to save the woman he's come to love?

And coming on Wednesday -- The Werewolf Whisperer, IN PRINT! It will contain the second issue of The Werewolf Whisperer and Unleashed, combined.

Yep...I'm definitely feeling the heat today!

A Weekend of Reviews

Woot! I've had such great surprises in my inbox over the last few days. Over the last 24 hours, I've received three, count them, three additional reviews to add to the mix.

The first two are from Coffeetime Romance:

Losing It
4 Cups from Lainey

"This is a dream turned into reality and all at the touch of a mouse click."

The Lady is a Vamp

4 Cups from Cherokee

"The Lady is a Vamp is a sizzling passionate read. The reader be warned, fingertips might get burned with the heat inside this story."

The third was from Manic Readers for
Losing It:

"Losing It by Ericka Scott is a very well written erotic short story... The plot was great though and I'd love to see a sequel, especially if Penny and her boss decide to get together permanently." 4 Stars, Valerie, Manic Readers

Forget Me Not is a Recommended Read!

Jasmine rated Forget Me Not 5 Delightful Divas AND a recommended read!

Here's a little of what she had to say:

"Ms. Scott has the unique talent to take an old plot and twist it to make it fresh. She creates story lines in a way that will keep you guessing even when you think you have it figured out. Her writing is smooth and you’ll easily devour this story in no time. Good thing Ms. Scott has a long backlog list, because you’ll be sure to want to check out her other stories after reading this hot little number."

Song of Seduction

Can she save him from the siren's call?

I have a new release this week from Cobblestone Press! The title is Song of Seduction (hence the post title) and if I must say so myself, it's hot, hot, hot!

There's an island in the Pacific where tropical flowers bloom, birds chirp, and deadly sirens sing. It's an island that charter boat captain, Yoshiko Moto, wishes she could forget. Two years ago, the entire crew of The Orpheus was lost. Visions of their dead bodies haunt her dreams.

Now, a research crew has hired her to take them to the island to catch a siren. But she knows no man can resist the creatures' deadly charms. But the trip leads to more than danger, it leads to love. Can she save Nico Eliopoulos from the spell of the sirens?

My flirtation with the sea has existed for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a marine biologist...the sea called to me and I listened (even though I lived in Illinois!). Unfortunately, by the time I grew up and had the opportunity, I couldn't afford the tuition to go to the University of Florida. Sigh. Instead, I took a degree in biology at the University of Illinois. Luckily, I did manage to sneak in one marine biology class.

Now, I live in the high desert of California, where we are about 2 hours from the mountains and 2 hours from the ocean! We try to go beach camping every year, and last year, I looked out at the sun setting on the horizon and Song of Seduction was born.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
