A Red Letter Month

February is going to mean more than hearts and flowers to me. Not only is it the romantic holiday season of the year AND the month of my wedding anniversary, it's also going to be the month I have THREE releases being published.

Yes, you heard me right. THREE!

Coming February 2 from Total E-bound:

The Lady is a Vamp

A professional poker player takes the biggest gamble of his life - falling in love with a vampire.

Under the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas is a dark underworld of vampires. Their salvation lies in the hands of a most unlikely pair - a professional poker player and the vampire who loves him.

One year ago, Kylie McKenzie was just a casino poker dealer. However, after being bitten by a rogue vampire, she lost not only her life, but the love of her life. Now, one year later, the man she was engaged to is back. She is determined to stay away from him - but someone else is equally determined to use her to manipulate the outcome of the World Poker Tournament Championship.

Last year, Royce Whittier not only lost his fiancée, he also lost the championship. Determined to get back in the game, he is sidetracked into looking for the origin of a tarot card depicting a woman who looks amazingly like Kylie. In doing so, he stumbles upon the secret vampire society and the slayer who stalks them.

Coming from Cobblestone Press on 13 February (talk about a Valentine's Day treat)

Losing It

Is there a shelf life on virginity?

On the eve of her birthday, Penny Granger is desperate to lose 'it' before she becomes a forty-year old virgin. Thowing caution to the wind, she fills out an application to e-bootycall.com and gets a birthday surprise. She's been matched with someone she's been fantasizing about for years. Her boss!

And coming from Phaze on February 16th

Another romantic tale, Out of Time

Mia Fairbanks set out to discover her past, she didn’t intend to live it.

When a hole in time opens, Mia finds herself in thrust into the year 1943. Is it just coincidence that it's the same year her grandmother, Betty Bishop, was arrested as a Nazi spy? Intending to prove her grandmother's innocence, she is instead embroiled in her Betty's murder investigation. Complicating matters is that the primary suspect is a super-sexy pilot. Her heart tells her he’s innocent, but a man used to keeping military secrets can surely keep a few of his own. When he accuses her of being an undercover German agent, it’s a race against time for Mia to discover the identity of the real spy before history repeats itself.

US Army Air Corps pilot, Jake Sands, is haunted knowing he was the last person to see Betty Bishop alive. Or was he? After being poisoned with arsenic, he is grounded from flight and decides to do a little investigating of his own. To his surprise, all the clues lead to the beautiful and mysterious Mia. He sets out to confront her and ends up being seduced by her charms, leaving him with an unanswered questions. Who is Mia -- is she one of Betty’s relatives or something far more sinister?

Set against the backdrop of secret missions, mistaken identities, Nazi spies, and larger than life characters, Mia and Jake discover the past isn’t always what it seems…

Cover Art Christmas times Two!

I love getting cover art, it's like Christmas all over again. And to get two new covers in one week has shot me over the moon.

The first is for my upcoming WICKED. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I wrote this short little piece of erotica just to see if I could. It was short, fun, and oh-so-sexy. Which is why, when I received this cover, I was THRILLED. Thank you Sable Grey!

The next one is for a paranormal romantic suspense set in my little fictional California coastal town, San Josue. This cover was predesigned and when I saw it on the Cobblestone Press deviant art site, I had to have it. Too bad I didn't have a story written for it. I remedied that situation as soon as I could, and Beckon the Dark was born.

Hope you all have a great weekend. We are looking forward to watching The Grudge 2 tomorrow. And I signed up for Candy Haven's Fast Draft class in hopes of kicking my writing into gear for the new year. I'm on the 10 pages a day plan (there is no flipping way I could write 20 pages) and so far I've hit 24 pages on Day 3. We had a slight glitch on Day 2, involving drama from a most unlikely source. My mother! But I'll save that story for another day (or better yet, find a spot somewhere for it in a WIP!) So, I'm off to crank out some words...
