Opportunity Knocks

Actually, this one pounded on the door!

Written in response to the Cobblestone Press Main Street Challenge to write a book in a month:

When a faerie godmother bungles one too many assignments, she's threatened with exile. On the run from her ex-boss who's also the crown prince, she ends up in Chicago, Illinois, where she finds danger from a different source: traffic congestion, housework, babysitting, and human males! Especially a sexy one named Phillip.

This sounds intriguing! Don't forget the whole windy city thing...her fairy wings may not work too well! ;)

Can see her trying to fly down Lakeside Drive then crashing into the lake. Color me odd.

Good luck, sounds like fun.

You know, I haven't a clue where the ideas for some of my stuff comes from. But this particular story was born from a 250-word flash that I couldn't sell.

I'd posted it on my blog back in February and Jacqueline lurved it! So, I figured if one person liked it. . .perhaps I could turn it into something.

So, don't ever toss any of your precious words. . .sometimes they can be recycled into something even greater!

So, now we'll see what Harlequin Spice Brief's thinks about it
